March 16, 2020
Dear parents and guardians,
We recognize that the increase in the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases this weekend raises several questions and concerns. CÉF is in constant communication with the Ministry of Education and follows the recommendations of Saskatchewan’s Chief Medical Health Officer regarding school closure options.
We expect everyone who is not feeling well to stay home and monitor for possible symptoms of COVID-19. We also invite parents to continue to report their child's absence from school.
As a precaution, the parent-student-teacher meetings that were to take place on Thursday, March 19 are postponed to a later date.
Our schools will continue to promote social distancing in schools and best practices in hygiene.
Anyone who comes to school must respect the measure in place to limit the risk of spreading COVID-19 in our school communities.
Thank you for helping us keep our environments healthy and safe,
Ronald Ajavon, Director of Education / CEO
